Shonda seemed to be waiting for me from the moment i got into my classroom.
She patted an empty desk near her and maintained eye contact as i walked in.
I lost our stare down and sighed as i walked over to the seat near her.
"Me and you are going to be great friends one day, just wait and see." Shonda said and I faked a laugh.
The problem wasn't that i was anti-social even though i really was anti-social. Shonda just wasn't my type of person. She was loud, rude and just made me feel really uncomfortable.
"Mhm" i responded trying not to give her any attention so she'd leave me alone.
"Oh i wanted to invite you to my party this tonight, Jupiter said he was coming but i personally wanted to invite you to make sure that you'd come." Shonda said before slinging a hand over my shoulder.
