Chapter 4

" Allen, wake up girl this is earth. What's bothering you?” Chan my best friend since elementary asked with irritation. Chandrea is her real name. She is a child of my Mom and Dad’s bestfriend and she is one of my two best friends.

We’ve meet sometimes because of our busy schedule we can’t bond all the time but she is really a good friend and besides the busiest schedule we can still find a time to be together. We are not in the same school by the way cause she is taking psychologist. She also loves dealing with people just like me that why we are meant to be friends.

It’s Saturday in the afternoon so we are here taking lunch in a café in a mall to catching up each other on what was happening in our life as a student, in our family and love life I guess.

I just shrug and drink my milk tea with frustration of thinking the man that make my life change a lot. I’m near with him but seems like his far away from me. I’m always thinking about him and this is really unusual. I want to get his attention but how can I do that? I’m no match with his gorgeous girlfriend.

"Hey, are you still there? Yuhoo, are you still alive or am I talking to a body without any soul?" she mock and glared at me.

"you know that feeling that arrrg, I want to stay away from him but I can’t do it because we are in the same class all the time. What will I do? I feel like a stupid here."

"wait, I don’t get it. Who do you want to stay away? I really don’t understand you. Why would you do that? OMG don’t tell me."

" I have crush on my classmate. But he doesn’t even gave any glance or what on me. If I don’t know that he has a girlfriend, I will think that he is a gay." I cross my arms.

Chan look at me with surprise " I knew it but why do you need to stay away from that guy if it is just a crush? What’s the problem with that? You’re being to obvious that you like him and it is not just a simple crush. Am I right? And for pete sake why would you think on earth that you can get his attention with that nerd looks of you, yeah you have a beautiful face but you don’t even look like a decent one.” she mocked at me

I just pout with her words. "what’s with my looks? And this is we’re I’m comfortable with. " I replied on her

Once again she glared at me "Yah I know but why don't you try to wear something like revealing dresses to seduce him" she joked and laugh.

That's stupid, but I think she has a point, maybe I should wear something seductive. Maybe he could turn his head over me. I smirk in my thoughts. I should give it a try. I know Chan is making joke but I will do it.

I look at her with smirk "Yah, Allendrea I don’t like what’s running on your mine right now. I was just kidding, okay. You are beautiful as you are so just forget what I said " she seems uneasy with how I look at her.

"you know what you are right." while smiling

"Yah, I know I'm right"

"I should wear something that will captivate his heart. " I said with devil smile on my face.

She spit her drink “Oh come on Allendrea, you really gonna do that? I don’t think that’s a good idea”

She really knows me that I have a firm decision, once I said it I will surely do it no matter what. She just facepalm.

I quickly stand up and grab my best friend’s hand and drag her to a women’s wear. “Let’s go”

"Wait, let me finish my food first, Allendrea. " she is puzzle with where are we going.

I face her with a wide smile on my face, she just cross her arms “Oh, come on, are you really gonna do it. Allen let’s just go back there and finish our food?”

I see frustration with her face “You suggested this so be it” she just scratch her nape “fine, okay I give up’’

“Yehey, I’m so excited” I giggle and snake my hand on his arms. Chandrea is a fashionista girl and we are opposite but we click together. And I’m so lucky to have her in my life.

We look for different dresses in the mall, and because I want it to have a make over. Let’s get it on. Actually she keeps on telling me to back out and she was just kidding but here she is helping me to buy everything and all that we get are all of she suggested. She is kinda enjoying it also. After buying some dresses and heels, she drag me this time to a salon for a makeover. She said new dress suits a new hair style and makeover.

I felt tired of what we did cause I’ve never done this makeover.

"You look so damn gorgeous every man will love to see you. Can I be your man?"

She looks amaze with me. I give her light slap on her arm.

"Ouch, I’m just kidding okay, you’re becoming saddist you know, but seriously you look definitely gorgeous."

I just pouted in front of her “Stop pouting, it looks gross with you, yuck. Anyway, let’s just go home cause I feel like I’ve drain all my energy”

I feel awkward with the people around me that looking at me with amazement. Duh what’s with them? I just grab Chan’s arms and headed to the parking lot as fast as I can. “Hey, stop dragging me okay. Don’t feel awkward, you are beautiful as you are, so be it. Chin up okay, don’t mind them and I'm always here for you” We smile at each other.

"Thank you beshy your the best" I said sincerely

As I enter our house my mom hug me tight “Thank goodness my princes you look so much gorgeous”

“Mom, I can’t breath” she let go of me and smile while combing my hair. “sorry princess I just love your new look but don’t wear to much open dresses, okay? I’m just happy”

“I know mom, thanks for the compliments”

“You’re welcome Princess, anyway, let just take a dinner. Your dad will be coming late as well as your brother and Jiro is already sleeping so let’s have a mother and daughter date”

“Sure mom, I love that idea”

I spent my night with mom in a happy dinner date. We just catching up each other cause she is busy as well in our company.

Changes we choose in life is alright as long as we are changing to become better for ourselves, not because of other people wants for us to be.
