“Jasmine!” Chloe said and rushed over to where Jasmine stood.
Jasmine lifted her into her arms. “Chloe, my darling. How are you doing?” she asked with a bright smile on her face.
Chloe pouted. “I want to go home,” she said.
Becca was glad to see Jasmine. But how had she known? The only person she’d reached out to was Leah.
“My mom got your message and called your number, but it wasn’t going through for some reason,” Jasmine said in response to her unspoken question.
“The network here isn’t very good for obvious reasons,” Max said.
