Chapter 7 “Oh my goodness, thank God you are okay,” Leah said as Becca entered the large VIP room that seemed more like a hotel than a hospital room with its pale blue and earth tones wall color and furnishings. Leah hurried forward, dressed in a long-sleeved white dress shirt belted at the waist, her long dark ponytailed hair swinging behind her. Becca let out a sigh of relief. It felt good to have her big sister here by her side. She always seemed to make everything better. “What happened?” Leah asked, her brown eyes taking in Becca and Chloe.
