By the time Sunday came around, Nia had already applied to twelve jobs and scheduled two interviews. The week had dragged by, and she impatiently awaited the visit. She chose a white silk knee length dress and silver sandals. She placed small silver studs in her ears. The doorbell rang at 3 p.m. sharp. Jake and Wilson stood at the door. Jake looked stunning, dressed in a black suit. His face was clean-cut and his hair gelled into perfection. He smelled of fresh sandalwood.
