My black eyes peered out over the pack.
Alpha Marwood and his pack milled about no wiser about the eyes on them. If it was possible, I would have smiled. Ruffling feathers as I cleaned my left wing. Revenge would be sweet.
All the sweeter now that the Alpha of the Fenrison pack had found his little mate. Patience wasn’t easy. But as they say - revenge is best served cold. And frigid was my hate. They would all suffer. The storied pack that had stood for so many centuries would be decimated.
They had no clue I was here. And maybe this in itself was foolish of me. To come and watch them as they went about their day, ignorant to what was coming for them. Not that they had ever sensed me any of the times I had passed their borders. It was easy for a single soul to pass through such as me.
At least with the help of magic. Just another raven on the property. But in time their lands would overflow with their life blood. The crisp mountain air would carry the sounds of their anguish, their screams. The gods cannot stop my thirst for this. And they would not stop the decimation of the pack.
Watching I spot the Alphas mate. Watching her with a sneer in my mind. I would make her suffer a brutal death. And I hoped that the Alpha would get to see it all. That would have to do. As much as I would adore keeping James Marwood alive to suffer for countless years as my prisoner. But that would only open up the chance of the gods interfering.
They liked to meddle. f*****g assholes. Watch over their favored pets like jealous lovers.
With the flap of wings I take to the skies.
You won’t escape my wrath, Fenrison Pack. You will all feel the violent brutality of my rage.
AUTHORS NOTE: RIP such a short one today. Ended up doing 10 hrs of games with friends and am DECEASED and ready for bed. So just a little snip this time from a mystery pov. I am going to attempt to have two chapters tomorrow to make up for it. But at least a more normal length one is coming tomorrow! Once more thank you everyone for taking the time to read!
