Tristan POV:

We drove deeper into the city of New York where all the fun and entertainment was.

There was mostly silence throughout the car drive, only holding small conversations from time to time in between the twenty minutes or so I spent driving.

When we finally got to the park, I noticed how Alina’s attention became aware of her surroundings. A smile grew on her face at the park.

I looked ahead and noticed that not too many people were here, just a few couples, some kids, and desperate women wandering around hoping to catch a big fish for their beds.

I wasn‘t a fan of crowded spaces especially ones with kids in it. It always made me feel weird, but I was going to get over that weirdness as of today.
