I woke up confused, "where am I?" I asked looking around.
"Kathleen." Gordon said rushing towards me, then hugged me, "Thank goodness you're finally awake. I thought I gave you an overdose of the sedative and killed you." He said sounding genuinely glad I was awake.
"Where did you take me, Gordon?" I asked again looking around at the room that was enclosed with no window or anything. It looked like I was in a basement.
"Oh, don't worry about that." He said, "Let me go get you some food. You should eat something after all the time you were asleep." He said as he left through the huge metal doors.
