Breaking Bonds Freya's POV The room was in total silence, save for the faint rustle of fabric as I dabbed a wet cloth against Seraphina’s bruised shoulder. Her skin was pale, too pale, and her once fiery eyes now seemed dimmed by shadows I couldn’t begin to name. Each wince she tried to suppress sent a sharp pang through me.
