Freya's POV The Ambush It was late, but the weather was still bright, as the moon hung heavy in the sky, casting silver light over me as I moved silently through the forest. Each step pressed deeper into the darkness as if the shadows themselves might swallow me whole. I have allies I could run to, but I do not want to be since as a pest, grumbling and begging like a helpless wolf. No, I am not thy kind of wolf, and I will never be.
