Josh eventually caught up the two kids, they weren’t being too eager to listen or be caught. All they wanted to do was just wanted to run as far and as fast as they could from all of this. In the middle of a war zone he didn't have the time or the patience to put up with them.
They appeared to be brother and sister so instead of negotiations and convincing them, he just picked them both up and ran off without a word, he had no time to mess around or be nice.
