The Squad reappeared in a flash of black and red light. At once looked around at their surroundings and realized that they were very different from anything they were expecting. The sky was pitch black and there was no moon or stars anywhere.
The wind was howling in the distance, but there was no wind around them to speak of. The ground was a pale ashen grey for as far as they could see. There was a thin line of white light in the far distance as if a sun was rising or setting.
"Uh, guys, is this Fort DIAB you were talking about?" Dustin asked them. He was sure this was not where they intended to be.
Cody just shook his head. “I don‘t know where we are, but I don‘t think we were told the truth,“ Cody said and he was furious now, there was nothing he could do about it right now.
