The rest of the squad stood before an ancient stone gate that resembled a piece of Stonehenge, only it was black and appeared to be burned by something.
"This is the exit I told you about. It doesn't work for us,” she said to them.
Nobody knew how she knew it was an exit.
"We can't leave. We have to go back for the commander," Josh said to them as he looked at the gate.
"None of us are in any shape to go back, but I'll do it. You three get out of here," Wyatt said to them and looked back the way they came but all he saw was an endless void.
"No, you stay here. I'll go back for your commander. I know where he is anyway. I'll be back. I can walk in the shadows and I am much faster than you are here," Amanda said as she stepped into the black not giving them an option to say anything
