This place held a special kind of tragic history for the Squad. It was where they came together to face Dead steel and his twisted machine army the first time, also used their armor for the first time as well.
Of course, the Syndicate did a great job in just covering it all up once the disaster was over but the city would never quite be the same after that.
Now they were back here and again it was a disaster of a place, at least this time only people seemed to be the ones causing all the trouble. The squad parked their Vindicators and got out of them a good distance away from the city, enough to see the whole picture.
“Well, I don’t like this place,” Dustin said.
“No one likes this place,” Josh replied and they stood some distance away from the city.
