26 The red sunlight poured through his window and it interrupted his reading time. “What in the world is going on out there?” he asked as he set his book down. Quentin rubbed his eyes as he gazed through the frosty windows and figured something was wrong. He lived alone in the mountains in a primitive cabin. He was isolated and liked it that way. There was only so much madness one mind could take of the modern world before you got lost in it. To escape it all and his past perhaps, he moved here. The red sun was the only indication he had that something was not exactly right. Something big was going down somewhere. “Come on, don’t ring,” he said.
