His One & Only

Finally got water

SILENCE was the only thing I got in return... Now the silent room was filled with my shouting.... I was crazily shouting her name but nothing happened.... I ran to the door... knocked, banged, asked for someone but nothing...

Fear started crawling inside me like a slow poison.... I started panicking.... thinking about the future and yesterday's events unfolding behind my eyes.... a tear slipped down my chin, on to my hand.... and then I whispered a single name that came to mind every time I close my eyes... "Elijah..... "

My breathing was hitched... there was nothing to calm me down now...I was a mess... sitting on the floor crying like a baby... sobbing, sniffing even the snout make it's presence known to me... and then again all I saw BLACK.

After One hour

Again I woke up on the same bed.... but this time the difference was a lady in her mid fifties was sitting beside me caressing my hand into hers.

She had a look on her face which can make u calm just by seeing her... Her face wore a few lines of frowns... which seems like she's in a deep thoughts... she was looking towards the large window.

Then I squeezed her hand a little to gain her attention, which she was giving to the window. When she saw me awake....

All the hell loose it's break.

She started asking me questions.... tooo many questions at that and without giving a break to her lungs to take a breath....

"Sweety!!! You are finally awake now!!! "

"Are you feeling ok? "

"How did you end up on the floor... my gosh!!! "

" You should have called me....!"

"Did you get hurt anywhere? "

"Are you comfortable? "

I was looking at her wide eyed.... my eyes were just about to pop out from their sockets... I tell you that for sure...

But I had no energy to tell her to stop her rant... In a way she was looking so funny with that small face of hers... which had that concerned look now.... and the only word that came out from my mouth in a hoarse voice was.... Water.

Then she just stared at me like I have grown two heads may be or there was unicorn behind me or something like that.... then again she started

"Am so sorry sweety!! "

"I should have asked you first. "

"How stupid of me!! "

And finally I don't know, where did she went to get a glass of water for me and with an extra bottle of water.

She handed me the glass and I greedily gulped down the water just in seconds....

Then I thanked her while putting the glass back on the side table. And answered her slowly...

"I'm fine, I'm ok, it's actually the second time I woke up on this strange bed.... and as for the floor... I did called for someone, for help but no one came.... and after that I just passed out there... "

I answered her while looking at her face and watching her facial expression change as my statement dawned upon her...

And finally I asked the questions which were bugging me in my mind this whole time.

"where I am??? "

"why am I here? "

" and where's my friend? "
