Our heads popped up above the bush in front of the bookstore. The bookstore had posters advertising Erica Johnson's arrival for the signing. Kate had the binoculars, spying at the bookstore while eating a breadstick.
"Is she here yet?" Leon whispered, peering through the bush trying to spy on the bookstore.
"If I spotted her, I would have told you guys." Kate grumbled, scooting around in her spot trying to get a good view. She suddenly, "Ooh! I see the back door opening!"
