I wasn't used to the stares of many, and I was getting much of it immediately we arrived at the office.I won't blame them because an official notice hadn't been sent out yet.I was actually startled for some time, so I had to find my footing before making my way to the presidential elevator. I could actually get a whip from the whispers of some workers, those who were astonished and some, I can say, were awed, but I won't blame them today for creating an impression. ******* As the sleek, black luxury car came to a stop, the door swung open and a vision of elegance stepped out. The woman's poise and confidence commanded attention, drawing the gaze of everyone within sight. Her tailored black business suit accentuated her slender yet curvy figure, giving a distinct but commanding personality, while her stilettos clicked against the pavement with each step. A whispered murmur spread through the crowd as people craned their necks to get a better look. "Who's that?" an employee asked a colleague, nodding discreetly towards the mysterious woman. Her raven-black hair tied in a high bun, framing her heart-shaped face and piercing brown eyes. A delicate silver necklace glinted around her neck, adding a touch of understated sophistication to her overall demeanor. As she strode towards the entrance, her presence seemed to electrify the air, leaving a trail of admiring glances in her wake. The employee's colleague leaned in, his voice barely a whisper. “Who is she and why is she taking the presidential elevator?” One asked. “Maybe she has to be the new CEO. Words have it that our new CEO will be in office soon.” “Is it possible for our CEO to be a lady?” Lucia commented. “Why can't a lady be the CEO? The only thing is for her to do the work well and effectively. If I should say,” Lucy replied. “ I don't care if it's a lady, she is pretty, and she suits a badass CEO, like in the movies.” “Jeez, Simeon, must you think that way?” “ I didn't do anything bad. I was just admiring her." “ Don't forget what you came to do here. Moreover, your class is far inferior to hers, and she won't even bat an eye at you. “ You must not be mean, Lucy,"Simeon retorted. Someone needs to tell you the truth, simple. Don't allow her to hear you. We aren't sure and we can't make assumptions. For now, let's get to work before We get scolded.
