Elvira POV
Someone teased at this time, “Brook's girlfriend really has a great figure.”
“She's not my girlfriend,” and soon after, Brook's harsh and deliberate tone rang out in the corner of the box.
I looked straight ahead and realized that there was a woman sitting in his arms, and Brook's hand was digging into her skirt. This was the first time I had seen Brook like this. Before this, he had always pretended to be a gentleman in front of me.
As soon as Brook spoke, the atmosphere in the box was ignited.
Someone deliberately sided with the enemy, speaking in a lewd tone, “What, did you not serve Brook well in bed? Never mind, you little beauty doesn't know any better, why don't you come here and apologize to Brook?”
The looks directed at me were of all kinds, but none of them were friendly. I knew that tonight was a trap deliberately set against me, but obviously, the situation was not optimistic.
Brook had already pushed the woman off him, and tapped his fingers on the marble countertop in front of him, “What, are you scared? Get over here and drink all this wine, I'll give you a chance to apologize on your knees.”
If it was still considered flirting before, this was insulting. A few of the men couldn't stand to see it, and spoke up for me, which angered Brook.
“It seems that her face really can deceive people. What kind of good girl do you guys think she is!” Brook sneered.
After all, they were friends in the business world, and no one would fall out with a friend over a woman. Brook was unhappy, and they could only watch me being bullied.
Even the music stopped in the originally lively private room, and everyone was looking at me. After a moment of stiffness, I noticed that there were already bodyguards guarding the door. No wonder I was able to come in so easily just now.
Brook POV
Elvira stood still for a moment, thinking, and then walked directly towards me. The short walk made her look even more elegant.
Even I had to admit to myself that I had put in the most effort with Elvira, but it was also this woman who had infuriated me. If I didn't get my revenge, I didn't deserve to be in Los Angeles.
“Mr. Gaston.” It was a tone that was clearly lazy and cold, but when she said it, it became a weapon to provoke men. I just thought about her pretending to be a saint and the slutty way she stuck to Cedric, and I was filled with rage, wishing I could just strip her right there and then and show everyone how I f****d her.

I pushed my tongue against the side of my cheek and said, “You drink first and then we'll talk.”
Someone in the box immediately started a commotion, ”Drink, drink, drink!”
The female public relations staff knew what to do. When they saw a man pick up a cigarette, they immediately went over to help him light it.
Elvira looked at the rows of glasses that had already been filled with various liquids, pulled the corners of her lips, and then directly picked up the decanter. Everyone was watching her, and no one stopped her, presumably wanting to see how this woman would fight like a cornered beast.
Elvira poured all the wine in the glass into the decanter, “It's so boring to drink glass after glass, don't you think so?”
I looked scornfully at the woman, wondering what her game was.
One of the men came out in defense of her, saying, “Brook, it's almost over now that the air has been let out. You'll kill her if you force her to drink like this.”
They didn't come out to play just to kill someone. But I was in the mood now, and I wasn't listening to this. ”You can leave if you're scared.”
I was determined to make Elvira suffer tonight, and then give her a unique congratulatory gift here.
Elvira had already gotten up, smiled at the man who had just spoken up for her, and then stood in front of me. Her eyes, like beautiful smoky eyes, looked pure and lustful at the moment.
I was really attracted to her too. Seeing her give in like this, I also lost the arrogant air I had earlier. “Cheap, isn't it? Huh? Do you think if you attached yourself to Cedric, he would come for you? What is his status? I treat you so well, and you still dare to cheat on me and seduce him?”
Elvira's smile never changed, as she said in a deep voice, “Yes, you are very good to me.” After that, her expression changed, and she grabbed my collar and threw the decanter at him.
Because it happened so suddenly, by the time the bodyguard at the door reacted, I had already been slapped by Elvira and was swinging.

I was stunned and tried to fight back when I came to my senses. Screams immediately sounded from the room, and just as there was chaos, the door was kicked open directly.
Zane POV
Cedric called the bodyguard to break down the door. I entered the room and just wanted to say something when I heard Elvira's “heroic words”. She looked at the man behind her with an ambiguous gaze and whistled.
“Brook, you're having a lot of fun, why didn't you invite us to come out and play?” I said, and the man behind me suppressed the bodyguard in the private room, patted the other person on the shoulder, and told him to go away.
The people who had wanted to help were suddenly quiet. They watched as Cedric, who was behind me, slowly entered the box. The air around them instantly became thinner, and someone in the middle of the group made room for him.
Cedric sat down without saying a word. His deep-featured face was hidden in the colorful lights of the box, half-obscured.
The next moment, he spoke, “Come here.”
Everyone looked at each other in confusion, not knowing who he was talking about. Brook fixed his gaze on Elvira. He had wanted to crush this woman into dust for days, so it was no wonder that she had dared to come alone and had called Cedric behind her back!
Elvira POV
Almost everyone's attention was on me as if they were wondering when I had hooked up with Cedric. From the tone of their voices, it sounded like they were in a serious relationship.
I was also confused. Before hitting Brook, I just wanted to vent, and I even anticipated the consequences. The worst that could happen was that he and I would die together, and neither of us would be able to live happily ever after. But I didn't expect Cedric to come, and I don't know if he heard what I just said.
Cedric's gaze had met mine, and I was rarely embarrassed and didn't know where to put my eyes.
He said, “Do I have to personally go and catch you?”
