17 ZEKE While the entire bar was gulping down their flowery-colored glasses of sick—and trust me, they would be the next day—I approached Bunnie from behind. She sensed me standing there and spun around to stare up at me, her eyes clouded in a s****l haze under the bar light. I snatched up her tiny little hand and led her to the back of the bar.
