Episode 6: The Blood Contract

1208 Words
The Blood Contract “When the past opens its mouth… the present bleeds.” ⸻ 🌙 Prologue — The Voice in the Dark Aurora didn’t sleep. She couldn’t. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw it again. The silver city. The burning sky. Queen Selene whispering “daughter…” And worse… That voice. ⸻ “Soon, little queen.” ⸻ Aurora sat up in bed suddenly. Her breathing was heavy. Her hands were shaking. The room around her was quiet, but her mind was not. Something inside her was waking up. Something ancient. Something hungry. ⸻ Across the room, Damien was watching her. He didn’t speak at first. He just stood there… like he had been waiting for her to wake up. ⸻ “You had the dream again,” he said softly. Aurora nodded. “Except this time… it felt closer.” Damien’s eyes darkened slightly. “That means the seal is weakening.” ⸻ Aurora frowned. “Seal?” Damien hesitated. Then sighed. Like he was about to break a rule he had obeyed his entire life. ⸻ “There’s something binding your bloodline,” he said. “And whatever is behind it… is trying to reach you faster.” ⸻ Aurora slowly stood. “Damien… tell me the truth.” A pause. Then— “I think you’re being hunted.” ⸻ 🧛 Scene 1 — The Vampire Decision Far away, inside the Nocturne Dominion… Dracula stood in a circular hall made of black marble and crimson glass. Vampire elders surrounded him. They were not happy. ⸻ “She is dangerous,” one elder said. “She is Eclipse blood,” another added. “She must be eliminated before she awakens fully.” ⸻ Dracula didn’t respond immediately. He just listened. Cold. Silent. Calculating. ⸻ Then he spoke. ⸻ “If you touch her…” A pause. “…you will be declaring war on me.” ⸻ The room went silent. Even the elders stiffened. ⸻ One of them stepped forward. “You would protect a half-awakened Eclipse child over your own kind?” ⸻ Dracula’s eyes sharpened. “I would protect what will decide whether we survive the next war.” ⸻ Silence fell again. ⸻ Then Dracula added something no one expected. ⸻ “And so will you.” ⸻ 🐺 Scene 2 — The Alpha’s Rage In the Nightfang Empire… Lucian stood in the war chamber. Maps covered the table. But he wasn’t looking at them. He was looking at bloodlines. Eclipse bloodlines. ⸻ King Magnus entered. He already knew what this was about. ⸻ “You are going after her,” Magnus said. Lucian didn’t deny it. “I am bringing her here.” ⸻ Magnus’s voice hardened. “That girl is not a trophy, Lucian.” ⸻ Lucian’s eyes flashed gold. “She is mine.” ⸻ The temperature dropped instantly. ⸻ Magnus stepped closer. “Do not confuse destiny with possession.” ⸻ Lucian’s voice lowered. “If she belongs to prophecy…” A pause. “…then she belongs with me.” ⸻ Magnus stared at his son for a long time. Then finally said: ⸻ “Then you will start a war you cannot control.” ⸻ Lucian turned away. “I already did.” ⸻ 🔮 Scene 3 — Morgana’s Warning Inside a collapsing witch sanctuary… Morgana lit a circle of black candles. Her hands trembled slightly. Not from fear. From urgency. ⸻ The flames turned silver. ⸻ That was bad. Very bad. ⸻ She whispered: “Eclipse awakening has reached stage two…” ⸻ The candles flickered violently. ⸻ Then she saw it. ⸻ A vision. Aurora standing in the center of a broken world. Vampires kneeling. Werewolves burning. And behind her… A shadow crown forming above her head. ⸻ Morgana stepped back. “No…” ⸻ She saw something else. Something worse. ⸻ Aurora was not just becoming powerful. She was becoming unreachable. ⸻ A being no kingdom could control. ⸻ 🧠 Scene 4 — Felix and the Truth That Shouldn’t Exist Back at Blackwood ruins… Felix was still reading the journal. His eyes were bloodshot. His brain was overwhelmed. ⸻ He flipped another page. ⸻ And froze. ⸻ Because the next words were written directly for him. ⸻ If you are not of royal blood and you can read this… then the Eclipse chooses you too. ⸻ Felix blinked. “What?” ⸻ The journal continued: ⸻ You are now a key holder. ⸻ Felix looked around. “Okay, I officially want to stop being involved in this story.” ⸻ But the journal wasn’t done. ⸻ The Eclipse cannot return without three keys: * The Queen (Aurora) * The Guardian (Orion) * The Human Anchor (YOU) ⸻ Felix dropped the journal. It hit the ground. Then floated back into his hands. ⸻ Felix stared at it. “…I’m sorry, what now?” ⸻ ⚫ Scene 5 — The First Blood Contract That night… Aurora left the penthouse alone. She needed air. She needed silence. She needed answers. ⸻ She didn’t notice she was being followed. ⸻ Until she reached the abandoned bridge outside Silvercrest. ⸻ Fog covered everything. The river below was black. The moonlight barely touched the surface. ⸻ Then she stopped. ⸻ Because someone was standing there. Waiting. ⸻ A man. Tall. Elegant. Silver eyes. ⸻ Not Orion. Not Lucian. Not Damien. ⸻ Someone new. ⸻ He smiled. “You are harder to reach than I expected.” ⸻ Aurora stepped back. “Who are you?” ⸻ The man bowed slightly. “My name is Kael.” ⸻ A pause. ⸻ “And I am here to offer you a contract.” ⸻ Aurora frowned. “What contract?” ⸻ Kael raised his hand. And the air around them shifted. Reality bent slightly. ⸻ “This one.” ⸻ Suddenly, chains of light formed between them. ⸻ Aurora gasped. “What are you doing?!” ⸻ Kael’s voice remained calm. ⸻ “Binding you.” ⸻ Aurora’s eyes widened. “Why?!” ⸻ Kael smiled faintly. “Because you are not ready for what is coming.” ⸻ The chains tightened. ⸻ Aurora struggled. Silver energy flickered from her hands— But something blocked it. ⸻ Kael stepped closer. Softly: “You are not being captured.” A pause. “You are being protected.” ⸻ Aurora froze. “…Protected?” ⸻ Kael nodded. “From Noctis.” ⸻ The moment he said the name— The chains glowed brighter. ⸻ And somewhere deep underground… Lord Noctis opened his eyes. ⸻ He smiled. ⸻ “Finally…” ⸻ 🩸 Final Scene — The Awakening Reaction Back at the penthouse… Damien suddenly stopped. He turned toward the window. ⸻ Something in the air changed. ⸻ His eyes darkened. “…Aurora.” ⸻ Lucian, miles away, also froze. ⸻ And whispered: “She’s being taken.” ⸻ Dracula clenched his fist. “This wasn’t supposed to happen yet…” ⸻ Morgana dropped her candles. “The Blood Contract has begun…” ⸻ Felix, holding the journal, suddenly felt pain in his hand. The ink burned. The words changed again. ⸻ The game has officially started. ⸻ 🩸 END OF EPISODE 6
