I growl in frustration as the doctor stalls for a bit, apprehension etched on onto her face.
"Can you just tell us now?" Jax asks rubbing my hand, trying to sooth my rising anger.
"So, Luna Valerie because of all your abuse from the former Alphas it has taken a great toll on your body and has resulted in some negative possibilities with this pregnancy.” She pauses and my mind is going into overdrive. "To avoid these scenarios the Luna will need to eat healthy and do some light exercise, the pup will be born in five to six months. We will have another check-up soon.”
“Okay, thank you.” I respond while my heart clenches at the thought of my unborn pup being hurt.
