‘That Sword!!?’ This was the impression all dragons ok scene felt. And they were right to assume an apprehensive pose. Something was off about The Sword of Grim. It didn't seat well to them. The Azure Dragon withdrew. He, like the rest of the dragons, felt dread going against the sword. Yet he had already crossed and broken the bridge [1]. He bit down and accepted the duel. The human was already on her last leg. The helpers she amassed weren't something he should concern himself with. Some slightly more powerful ones were already murdered. He was hard-pressed to just defeat her, and two others. Until the woman sliced the air forward, even with such distance between him and the sword, a horrifying gash seemingly materialized on his chest. Very few could understand how it happened. But he understood that whatever buff the Woman had, it all came when she held that sword. ‘I can't lose here! I've come this far!’ "f**k!" he yelled out in alarm... l "I can't lose!" His eyes turned red. — — — Short bizarre silence and lull were permeating around the castle, apart from the reverberations created from the violent battle in front of them, the residents all heeded a certain serene atmosphere, only clenching their fists and making silent prayers in essence for the survival of their race which could be only orchestrated by the Queen. It was Three against One! That's, not putting in mind the draconian army looming behind. But one thing was certain though, none of the parties presently in combat had it easy, in fact, after the Queen held one of the four ancient artifacts, the Sword of Grim, the battle shifted to her favor. This sword was passed down from previous generations after the Desolate era till date. It existed for thousands of years, yet maintained its translucent glow, to show how unordinary it was. Azure Dragon was pushed to the brink time and again. Even at that, all the citizens wore terrified faces with grim looks in each of their eyes, 'The other Dragons haven't struck out yet... If they choose to aid their kin...' This thought brewed in their minds as they cast anxious looks at the Winged Army. Not to be confused though, this 'army' was only made up of a couple of dragons numbering in the tens, but even still the pressure every human near the battlefield felt was the same anyone would expect when facing a battalion of Horsemen with burly arms all alone. All the humans knew instinctively that if any of them move to attack, this stalemate that has gone long enough would end with only a move from the... Especially the large Red Spiked Dragon that was as long as 100m and covered a huge part of the sky, giving everywhere a baleful feeling. l "What are you folks still enthralled in that same spot for? Klaus! you've entertained enough get, Should I roll dead before you act?" "Young Sovereign, A dragon should keep his Vow! If I remember correctly you said 'I don't need helpers. Just ensure this Young Master's safety. I alone am enough to destroy all Seven realms." The Red Dragon spoke nonchalantly. "Why must you be this way? Screw the words I said before, kill this mortal right now. You can let your bloodlust fill to the brim for all I care, kill to your excitement." It was then, the humans understood that the Azure Dragon had no intention of letting them off, eclectic reactions spread through the crowd of onlookers; Some of them wept uncontrollably, others exhorted their Queen, Shouting words of encouragement, still, others just wore a blank gaze and some, more so less 90% hurriedly withdrew from the peripheral. No one wanted to die as the others did. The entire place was emptied save for a few. The appearance of the dragons, the killings, and the present battle— happened in a short span of 5 minutes. And in these 5 minutes, thousand lives were lost. The dragon army showed no indication of moving from their positions after the Red dragon called Klaus made their stance known. This dragon was too big when compared to the Azure dragon Dragon. It was just something short of 120 meters but it had a chronological feeling. Every breath it took had an interval of more than a few minutes and gave it an Ancient sentiment. It didn't have the same physique as the other dragons though, "Young Sovereign shouldn't say words that'll provoke the heavenly calamity, lest you be struck with lightning. A vow is a Dragon's mantle. Even if cost us our lives, we must cling to the words spoken from our lips. Your statement just now was bordering on sacrilege to our Ancient ordinances." When another dragon that gave off an ancient feel spoke, the stoic faces of the dragons finally changed to one of condemnation as they glared at the Azure Dragon. 'Please let this controversy escalate to an unreconcilable hate, !' In the minds of all the human masters, this sentiment concocted. It could be discerned from the onlookers that the Azure Dragon who was their supposed leader wasn't too congenial in the eyes of the other dragons... . This was the rumored infighting that usually happened in Houses of different nobles. "Asgard, even you too!!?... Good, good. Today, I have seen the shitty thoughts that have been contrived in all your hearts. Hahaha! Heavens are against me, The Earth is Against me, My Brothers are against me, Only a stray hermit would break the shackles tying him down, and when he does. Limit Off!..." The Azure dragon grew suddenly to 4 meters still in its human form and its eyes turned red with flickers of gold. At this moment, Queen Gypsy had struck out with her sword but instead of the clean-cut every had expected, the sword made its impact with the smooth skin of the dragon and let out Clanging sounds. It lost all its propulsion at the end not even making a bruise on the dragon's skin. Queen Gypsy jumped out decisively and created a large distance from it while wearing a skeptical look. Alas, the maddened dragon was set on ending her life
