Thank you so much to everyone who helped me launch Escape Velocity in time for the 2019 k****e Storyteller contest! After a few too many stalled first drafts and frustrating rounds of “life getting in the way” lately, I’ve been in dire need of seeing a project all the way through to publication, and this deadline has been exactly the excuse I’ve needed to say no to all the delays and make it happen.
Thanks go first to my husband and writing partner, Matt, for understanding why I needed to do this, rushing to give me feedback on time, sometimes at the expense of delaying his own work in progress, and cheerfully accepting the total lack of clean laundry in the house this past month.
