Sabrina's mood darkened, casting a shadow over her like the heavy drapes on a window after Kenneth asked her why she wasn’t in love with him. She couldn't believe his audacity and felt a surge of anger rise within her.
Without another word, she turned and walked away, determined not to give him the idea that she was head over heels with him but her steps faltered when she heard a laughter echoing behind her. He must have assumed she was lying!
