I’m here at the store when my mother starts mind-linking me, I’m not sure how she does that even with all my blocks. She finally gives up mind-linking but I know my mother has people looking for me everywhere.
Two weeks later.
“Hey, Nova.” Bill comes into the store. I’m supposed to work two more hours before he is supposed to be here.
“Hey Bill what can I get for you?” I ask.
“Marie wants to see you in the garden,” Bill informs me.
“I’m still supposed to have two hours left on my shift.” I was kind of shocked Marie was not one to break a schedule in the short time I have been here you could set your clock by her.
