Listening to Nova talking to Ryan, something snapped inside me. The thought of her dead I couldn’t stand. All I wanted to do was take her in my arms and comfort her. Then Ryan said he would mark her I knew I couldn’t let that happen, what would happen if his mate came, he was only offering so she would not die. I couldn’t let the woman who saved my son die. But how do I do this? I can’t be with her as a mate, but no one else can I couldn’t stand it.
