Helios leaves I can hear the conversation outside. Mom really won’t stop looking, I always thought she loved her boys more but I guess I was wrong. I mean I have been gone for months and she’s threatening Helios, grandpa could kill her with a snap of his finger. No god tolerates being disrespected.
“I know we piss off Mom, but I’ve never seen her like that.” I gasp.
“Your mother was tame there, I was expecting far worse. I have seen your mother pissed off, that was nothing. She didn’t kill Todd because the counsel stopped her. Let me tell you that is a mistake she won’t make again.” Lilly knows Mom better than anyone.
“Maybe she should have been a bear.” I laugh.
“Maybe.” Lilly gave me a tight smile. “I need to go see your mother, I will be back shortly.”
