CHAPTER 4

BEYOND ME AND LALA Liya's POV "Did I just ACCEPT Martin as my fated mate? What did I just do?" Riya had been my only sister, and was betrayal all she could get in return for loving and having me as a sister? No.. I like Martin but this can't be happening. What would Father and his Luna think of me? My mother had always told us to thread life carefully, and that table turns. How would I look at her and Father after this? I don't even want to think of Riya. She would have me strangled when she finally sets her eyes on me. I had just accepted her Martin as my mate. I had betrayed her and the trust she had in me. I heard an applause inside of me. It was Lala, my wolf. She had always insisted we go for what we want. She would tell me life is too short to not go for what is yours. Martin was mine now, I had to come to acceptance. I watched as my sister moved helplessly out of her party hall. The party we had planned together to make her just happy. I remembered how she told me she would finally get to know her fated mate today, the day she turned eighteen. But I should have waited. At least, I have some more time. I was only sixteen. I had two years to the deadline, I uttered to myself. With this day passing, my sister would have passed the deadline for father's expectation of meeting our mate. He had always told us we shouldn't meet them older than eighteen. He had met his Luna at sixteen. Sixteen to eighteen was just the perfect time. "But you're not early," I growled within myself. Accepting Martin at sixteen had just shown my life was moving at the right pace, the perfect time. Just like my mother. I couldn't miss our time together. The soothing f***s, how Martin always made me scream, how easily he made me c*m, as well as having his sizeable d**k inside of me. This time, eternally. But above all, I would be the Luna of the Elipse Blue Pack someday. Martin was the Gamma. Someday, surely, I would command everyone in the Pack as I would be their Luna. "Riya can go to hell!" Lala reassured me again. "We always get what is ours," I said, concurring with what my wolf had said. ********** I quickly went into the house to see Riya. I wasn't entirely happy with what I did but I couldn't risk losing my mate for her. I had perceived Martin from the time we entered the hall. This is no joke. He was my mate. But how I would explain to Riya and get her to understand was what I couldn't wrap my head around, to make it happen. But I had to confront her, I had to tell her something. I looked everywhere in the house but Riya was not there. "She shouldn't kill herself." I choked as I said. I went hastily to the balcony, where Father always had the omegas do his claws at sunset. I was surprised, that Riya was not there. I had just one last place I could find her. If she wasn't there, then I would have to tell Mother and Father so the omegas would go around the neighboring packs to look for her. Riya was my sister, I still love her. I hastened to the trees facing the forest. Our Pack was just close to the Lui forest; the forest we were told my great grandfather, Alpha Alpheus, the then Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack discovered when Blood Moon didn't grow to where it was today. There were only about twenty wolves then, my father told us. Riya and I always go there to sit as we watch the tree branches and their leaves dance to the rhythm of the blowing wind. That was the only place Riya could be. "She probably would be there to clear her head," I choked. As I looked, I saw a wolf walk hastily away from my sister. As if he didn't want her to see him again. "Who would that be?" I said to myself. "Has my sister found another mate so soon? Has the wolf marked her already?" I looked to see who he truly was. But I couldn't recognize his face. He may be from the neighboring pack, I thought. As I looked, I saw my sister put a ring on her paw. "He had even put a ring on her finger!" ********* "Liya, Liya..!" I had to return to the house. They were looking for me already. At first, the voice sounded like that of Jandro, our Pack's Beta. But as I listened again, I discovered it was Martin's, my fated mate. Why was he looking for me? I wondered. I returned and I found Martin waiting for me at the Pack's royal restroom. My mother and father had not returned to the house yet. They were probably exchanging pleasantries or bidding farewell to the Alphas my father had invited to my sister's party. Martin gave me a signal. One that showed he wanted me again. Martin was without remorse. "Who raised you?" I teased as I approached him in the restroom. "We are supposed to be looking for Riya to tell her how sorry we are!" I choked as I told Martin. And not knowing how, I saw myself again in his arms, this time, at my father's house having the same fun we used to. I was betraying Riya again. This time, Martin lashed me as never before. Thank God only the poor omegas had returned. I screamed that I was scared Alpha Luis and his Luna might hear us. I prayed Riya remained in the forest too. I had betrayed her already. She would lose herself finally if she saw us, even though she wasn't herself again anymore. I moaned as I enjoyed the euphoria of the moment. Martin increased the strokes and made them faster. He knows just how I wanted it. He gave me the special f**k signalling I was officially his. We celebrated he had just marked me. Martin was just want I want. Neither flesh nor blood can come between us.
