When the semester ended, they returned to Greenville and moved in with Mark. Matt’s brother claimed he would need a bigger apartment and asked how many women Matt would be bringing with him the following summer. Sarah smiled and ignored Mark’s glib remarks. One week of her cleaning his apartment would change Mark’s opinion of his new roommate.
Sarah found that she had a lot of free time on her hands now. Matt was working five days a week for his father, putting aside money for their apartment.
