It was cool outside and the sun remained hidden behind the clouds. Matt glanced at the threatening sky and zipped up his jacket.
“Well, where to next?” he said. “Want to get something to drink?”
“I’m sorry,” said Jess. “I’ve got choir practice at six.”
“Oh, bummer,” said Sarah.
“Yeah, sorry. But the movie was fun. Thanks for inviting me.” Jess turned to Mike and extended her hand. “It was nice to meet you.”
