V - Building Emotions
The following week they spent an evening with Jason and Lori at a baseball game. It was a unique situation, since they were such good friends. Sarah relished the opportunity to be part of a foursome, though.
Saturday night they all went dancing. It proved interesting when Jason’s old girlfriend joined them. The woman’s intended target, Jason took Rachel aside and after that, she hardly even spoke to him. Matt commented that the exchange with Rachel appeared to bother his best friend, but the remainder of the evening passed without further incident.
After saying goodnight to Jason and Lori, they drove to Mark’s apartment. Sarah’s thoughts returned to Rachel’s appearance.
