XIII A Wedding to Remember Heather helped Sarah carry the bottles and they set the bubbles on the dining room table. Sarah located scissors in the kitchen drawer and began snipping off pieces of green ribbon. While she cut, her friend tied the pieces to the top of each tiny bottle. After assisting Lori two years ago, Sarah did not want to bother with lace. A simple green ribbon adorning each white bottle would suffice. When they finished, Sarah and Heather carried the boxes to her room. Almost everything was ready for their wedding. Sarah stared in triumph at the table and its contents while Heather flopped on her bed. “Don’t forget Lori’s gonna be on Letterman tonight,” Heather reminded her. “I won’t,” said Sarah. “Matt promised me he’d tape it, too. I don’t want to miss anything.”
