“And you don’t know of any Alphas who would do such a thing?” I ask my dad while we sit on the couch in my office. He leans forward with his elbows resting on his knees and shakes his head, “Not a single one. It’s not common practice anymore and even under the best of circumstances most Alphas fear the repercussions from the Delegation.” “But as long as they act within the law, they have nothing to worry about. The Delegation isn’t evil. They aren’t dictators,” I say, feeling a little protective of the friends I have made. Not a single irshiust has a mean bone in their body, they weren’t made that way.
