Chapter 6

The day was so hectic for Lily, it was enough that she had so many files to handle, her colleagues think she's sleeping with the boss since they both arrived at work together in the boss's car and then there was Rosie coming to add to her bad day already. She threw herself to the sofa, happy that she had gotten to her house so she could have quality rest. She had barely settled on the sofa when her phone beeped.

A call from her boss came in, Lily wondered why he was calling, she was already cut up with their mess,and wouldn't want to have more issues already.

"Hello going evening sir," Lily said into the phone.

"Hi Lily, I just want to inform you to get ready for the dinner party I promised. Remember I promised to host you at my place when you help me out at the party," Sebastian said.

"Okay, yes I remember now,is there anything you would want me to do?"

"Just get dressed and call me when you are ready, I will be coming over to your house tyi pick you, I'm going to be the one cooking for you tonight," Sebastian said, dropping the call.

Lily wondered how it would feel to be hosted by the boss, the most wanted boss that every girl is dreaming to have is right here offering to treat her to a dinner, she really felt happy and special too.

Lily got up to prepare for the night, even though she still had enough time left for her to prepare she still chooses to prepare on time, she went to dresser to get a dress, she had always being the picky type when it comes to dresses and now she knew she would end up confused on what to wear, she had to look good since she would be going to see Sebastian she didn't want to look bad at all.

Sebastian went to the grocery store to get the things he would be needing to prepare the dinner for Lily, he was so happy and couldn't explain the urge for him to do all these to Lily, he hadn't done this for anyone except for when he was about to start dating Rosie his ex wife, and now he is going all round doing it for his employee, Lily wasn't just an ordinary employee, she was his best behaved female staff, she had helped him out at the party, and most importantly, he had promised to give her a dinner treat, so it would only be honorable for him to stay true to his words like the gentleman he is.

Sebastian picked the things he needed to make a meal of chinese sauce, even though he wasn't really a good cook,but he was ready to try out his hand on the little he had learnt from his mum, and he hoped that it turned out fine for Lily to love it.

But why did he feel the urge to make Lily happy? He kept convincing himself that he was going to treat Lily as the mere staff that she is and nothing more than that, even though his heartfelt feeling was otherwise.

"Here's your bill sir, have a good meal," the sales guy attending to Sebastian said whilst handing his items to him.

Sebastian checked the time and noticed that it was almost close to the time he had agreed to come pick Lily from her apartment, he sent a text to her that he was on his way to her house.

Lily quickly got up to get dressed, she got into the bathroom to have a good bath, her mind was happy and joyful that she was going to spend the evening with her boss, even though she has tried to shove the feeling down, constantly reminding herself that she isn't the type of woman Sebastian would fall in love with, he falls in love with the type of Rosie, he loves them sophisticated.

Lily quietly wiped the water dripping from her body, her mind restless on how to feel about the dinner she would be having with Sebastian.

She had carefully selected the most beautiful dress in her closet, it was a beautiful red dress. Lily loves putting on red dresses. It compliments the beauty of her glittering skin and gives her this sort of confidence that she has always loved.

The dress fitted perfectly into her sweet and cute perfect body, a smile lit up her face as she could feel how beautiful she was. She sat in the chair and applied makeup on her face, after that she applied red lipstick on her lips, and when she smiled her face looked like that of a model. Lily was happy because going out with Sebastian recently had brought back her dressing lifestyle which she had left to suffer due to the pursuit of her career.

She took her golden cute strap Gucci heels, set and sat quietly waiting for Sebastian while also admiring herself in the mirror.

About a few minutes later, she heard Sebastian's car pulled over at her place, as walked to meet with him.

For a moment Sebastian stood fixed to the ground, he was stunned by the beauty he was seeing, he couldn't believe that Lily was this beautiful, she was really looking breathtaking, she looked so cute that Sebastian couldn't help than gush over her beauty, blaming himself for taking much time to notice how beautiful Lily is.

Sebastian walked up to Lily where she was standing at the entrance to her apartment.

"You look so beautiful," Sebastian said, kissing her back hand.

"Thank you for the compliment," Lily said with a smile.

They got into the car and drove off, Lily's mind was so much in a happy mood, this was the second time Sebastian had complimented her beauty, first was on the party night, and now he had said again how beautiful she is.

Lily looked out from the window of the car, enjoying the view of the city as it was evening, there were colorful lights from the cars on the road, and even from most shops. Sebastian and Lily had conversation concerning business and life generally with each having their strong opinion on life.

They pull up at Sebastian's apartment, Lily realizes that they have been riding for a long time without even realizing they had gotten to where Sebastian lives.

The living room was beautifully decorated with flowers and different colors of light, Lily was surprised to see everything placed in order. Sweet and loving scents filled the whole place.

"When did you get the time to put all of these together?" Lily asked, surprised.

"I had my domestic staff put everything in order, so that when you come you can feel at home. It's my dinner treat to remember, and I want to give you the best and memorable one," he replied calmly.

"Thank you, I love the decorations, it's really beautiful and nice to look at, I was surprised you put up all these just for me,I love it," Lily said, still looking round the living room in admiration.

"Okay right now, I have to go make dinner, I bet you're going to love my food, feel at home," Sebastian said, taking the groceries with him.

Lily served herself a glass of wine from the bar in the living room, she sipped the wine and savored the rich taste of the wine. Lily stood up with her glass of wine in her hand, she walked to the kitchen where Sebastian was cooking.

"Hmmm, the food smells nice, you really took out your time to do this for me, that means I will be jailed for putting my boss through so much stress," Lily said smiling.

"Hey, you don't have to worry about me, I'm a very good cook, well,not so good but I'm sure that whatever I cook you are going to enjoy it," Sebastian said laughing.

"Whatever you cook? That sounds scary right now," Lily said, laughing lightly.

"Oh so sorry but I'm sure to give you a good meal," Sebastian said, as they both laughed at their own jokes.

Lily was glad for the evening, she was really having fun and she liked the fact that Sebastian had a good sense of humor, as he made her smile.

The food was ready and Lily helped him set the table.

"Wow, this is really lovely, I love the taste," Lily said.

"Yeah, a lovely meal to a lovely lady, see Lily I have been thinking, I know you would meet someone who will love you soon because you are such an amazing young woman" Sebastian said looking at her face.

Lily looked at him and caught him staring at her. ''What was he trying to do and what does he mean by those sweet words,'' Lily kept asking herself. And now she feels that Sebastian was beginning to flirt with her.

Since his heart was broken by Rosie he had loved so much, he was still being careful letting his heart open again for love.

Sebastian's heart felt at peace staying around Lily.

"What could this mean?" He kept asking himself.
