Nicole stepped out of her car and sighed. She felt so hot-blooded from the stressful evening that she didn't realize how cold it had gotten in New Jersey, until she could see her breath that morning. She shook her head to herself as she thought about the utter awkwardness of Dean and Luke being in the same room together, with her parents and Lia there to boot. And it was not over yet. Her parents then invited both Dean and Luke over for the coming evening. Plus Lia. She suspected what they were up to: why not pin her two potential beaus against each other?
