Chapter 6 One week prior to the murder Dan Morano tapped his fingers on his whiskey glass while he sat in the living room chair, his eyes glued to the front door. Feeling unnerved, he swallowed the rest of his drink and stood up to pour himself some more. After setting the whiskey bottle down on the bar cabinet in the living room, he thought to himself how ironic it was. After all, it was his wife, Christina, who insisted on that expensive bar cabinet and yet she was never home to use it. She said she wanted the house to look like it does on TV, like her soaps featuring the fancy bar tables with decanters on top. Swirling the ice around in his drink, he started wondering if that's what this was all about. If she was trying to make her life like a soap opera, possible affairs and all. T
