Viktor’s POV.
I leaned back in the leather chair, swirling the whiskey in my glass as I stared at the unconscious girl lying on the couch. Elena Rossi. Our new little pet. Even passed out, she looked like trouble long brown hair spread everywhere, lips slightly parted, chest rising and falling in that silk robe that was now dirty from the journey.
She was beautiful even more than I expected.
“I still don’t like this idea,” Nikolai said, pacing near the window. He ran a hand through his messy hair, looking annoyed.
“Buying a spoiled mafia princess? We don’t need this kind of headache. One wrong move and she’ll try to stab us in our sleep.”
Dmitri, who was leaning against the wall with a cigarette between his fingers, smirked. .
“Relax, brother. I brought us a solution, didn’t I?” Dmitri said, his different-colored eyes shining with excitement.
“Her uncle owed us big time but instead of killing him, we took the best payment. Look at her. Feisty and beautiful, She’s going to be so much fun to play with.”
I took a slow sip of my whiskey, eyes never leaving her face. “She’s a feisty one, that’s for sure,” I said coldly.
“Did you see how she fought them? Kicking, biting, cursing like a street girl even though she grew up with gold spoons in her mouth. This one won’t break easily.”
Dmitri chuckled. “Exactly why I like her. The ones who fight back always scream the sweetest when we finally have them under us.”
Nikolai stopped pacing and looked at her again. A small smile slowly appeared on his face. “Fine… maybe you’re right. She does look like she’ll be entertaining. But if she becomes too much trouble, Viktor, we’ll handle her the hard way.”
I nodded. That was the plan anyway.
We were in the middle of discussing how to start her “training” when I noticed her fingers twitch. Her eyelids fluttered.
“The feisty pet is waking up,” I said quietly, a dark smile tugging at my lips.
Elena’s eyes opened slowly. She blinked a few times, confused then her whole body tensed when she saw the three of us standing over her. She tried to sit up fast but her hands were still tied behind her back, making her fall back onto the couch.
“What… where am I?” she whispered, voice hoarse. Then reality hit her again and her eyes filled with fire. “You bastards! Let me go right now!”
She started struggling hard, trying to get off the couch, kicking her legs like a wild animal.
Dmitri laughed softly. “There she is. Hi again, little flower.”
Nikolai moved closer, tilting his head as he watched her fight. “She’s got spirit. I think I’m starting to like this deal after all.”
I stepped forward and placed one knee on the couch, leaning over her. She froze when my shadow covered her up close, her eyes were even prettier full of anger and fear mixed together.
“Darling,” I said calmly, my voice low. “Stop fighting It’s useless. Your uncle sold you to us so you are ours now. The sooner you accept that the easier it will be for you.”
“Accept what?!” she shouted, still trying to move away from me. “I’m not your f*****g property! My father will. . ."
“Your father is dead,” I cut her off coldly.
“And even if he wasn’t, he couldn’t save you from us.”
Tears of anger shone in her eyes but she didn’t let them fall. Stubborn very good. I liked when they had pride it made breaking them so much more satisfying.
Dmitri came to my side and brushed a strand of hair from her face. She tried to bite his finger and he pulled back, laughing.
“Feisty pet indeed,” he said.
Nikolai smirked from the other side. “What should we do with her first, Viktor? She looks like she needs to be taught some manners.”
Elena looked at all three of us, breathing fast. Her robe had slipped a little from all the struggling, showing smooth skin of her boobs that made my blood run hotter.
I leaned down closer until my face was inches from hers.
“Welcome to your new life, princess,” I whispered. “Tonight, we’re going to start teaching you exactly what it means to belong to the Volkov brothers.”
Her eyes widened in fear but she immediately covered it up smirking.
And I knew right then breaking this one was going to be the most delicious game we’d played in a long time.
