Chapter 40 : Epilogue

“We will miss you honey .”Dad and mom hugged me and I even saw dad holding back his tears which made us all laugh.

“I know – I know you won’t understand my sentiments. When you will have kids of yours than you will know how hard it is to stay away from them. “ I hugged dad tightly and tried not to cry. Yesterday my parents spent the whole night helping me pack and arranging place things in New York.

“I love you guys.” I widened my arms for a hug and they both hugged me.

“You guys don’t cry I will call you when my plane land.” I tried to comfort them.

“Promise.” They said like kids and I laughed.

“OMG guys thank you for coming. I hugged all my friends as my parents put my bags in the cab .Dad wanted to drop me off at the airport but I told him I was young independent lady .I met everyone except Stefan . Ryan was there too he kept calling his boss but Stefan call was dropping.

Ryan went with me to the airport although I insisted that I can do it on my own- yet he wanted to go with me just in case Stefan reply to any of his calls. We sat there for an hour as our bags were being put away . Grabbing my ticket , passport and phone in one hand I headed for my plane when I heard the announcement.

I hugged Ryan good bye , yet a part of me was very anxious as if something is about to happen. I wanted to turn back and go home , Or Call Stefan and tell him everything but the constant calling of my name on the speaker forced me to turn to the flight and forget everything. A part of me was trying to drag me back but the other part said maybe leaving was the best.

The crazy stalker can’t control my life with his stupid threats.

“Please put your cell phones away Ma’am.”The young hostess told me as she saw me flipping my Iphone in my hands restlessly . We were about to fly and just as I was about to switch off my phone and put it away I received Ryan’s message.

“NINA ! Stefan is in hospital. You need to comeback they said he can’t make it out alive today.” The urgency in his voice could be seen so clearly. My Iphone hit the floor with a loud thud and all eyes were on me. The decision was on me whether to leave or go back ?
