After a few minutes, I made up my mind to tell Ryder about the note. But first, I used my phone to take pictures of it, stored it on my laptop in a file for unsolved things before heading out to find Ryder.
I found him in the command center, talking in a low tone with Gabe as he stood behind him, watching something on the monitors. He turned as soon as he heard me come in.
“Ava?’
I didn't bother saying anything as I walked over and handed the note to him which he took carefully. He lanced at me then back at the note before slowly opening it. His expression changed from relaxed to cautious. He frowned as he read it twice before finally looking at me.
“When and where do you get this?”
“I found it in my room. Someone slipped it in through the door.” I replied.
