A subtle disorientation clung to my awakening and I lift myself. A sudden thump arises in my chest as I find myself in a room that is foreign to my senses. Startled, my eyes scans the unfamiliar walls, seeking recognition in vain. The air carries a scent unfamiliar, and the play of light reveals a room shrouded in mystery. Fear ripples through my chest as I wonder what could have happened to him. Where is he? Why am I here? What is going on?
