Lilas Light. My presence is physically in the lecture room, but I’m mentally elsewhere. Despite the professor's animated delivery, my gaze wanders aimlessly, disinterested in the unfolding lesson. The rhythmic tap of my pen against the note becomes a subtle percussion of distraction. I twirl a strand of her own hair, lost in my own thoughts.
