The Hybrid Mates

The Day Before 18

It's the day before my birthday and a few others in the pack. When we were all born, the elders called it a miracle since we were all born just a few minutes to a few hours apart. So since then, we have all had a huge party and celebrated together. Tomorrow is just like every other birthday other than the fact we might be able to find our mates. If they are not in the pack, then we are given a card with money that the pack has set aside for the ones who need to travel to find our mate. The reason why the pack is responsible for the money and not the parents is due to the fact that some parents die when fighting rouges. Plus, it helps to make sure everyone who has to travel to find their mate will have money.

As I am walking around in a pair of shorts and a tank top about to go for a run, the Alpha of my pack mindlinks all of us.

Alpha Stephen "I need all the unmated females to the pack house including the ones who are turning 18 tomorrow"

Hearing Alpha's words, I groaned inward to myself but softly replied "Yes alpha"

Walking to the pack house, I suddenly feel my world staring like something is wrong, but at the same time, she is excited about something.

Me "what is wrong with you? I can feel your anxiety and excitement."

Ruby "I feel something but I can't put my finger on it and it's got me feeling I have the zoomies.... But we can't go run now"

Me, "I know, but maybe it's our mate."

Ruby "if it's mate we can jump his bones tomorrow when we turn 18"

Me "we are not going to instantly jump his bones... Now be quiet, we are almost at the pack house"

Cutting off the link between my wolf and as I got to the pack house there are three alphas standing next to Alpha Stephen. Once I find a place to stand, I feel like someone is staring at me. Looking up, I see one of the alpha's eyes on me and I start to feel my wolf getting more excited. Rolling my eyes, I ignore her and listen to what is being said.

Alpha Stephen "ladies, these three alphas are looking for their mates. Let me introduce them. Alpha Ryder from the Storm pack, are known for their incredible strategy tactics. Alpha Caleb from the White Moon Pack is known for having the best healers. Alpha Danicus from the Bloodstone pack is known for their strength during combat. Please make them feel welcome, and ladies, please be respectful of them.

As Alpha Stephen finished talking I could hear growling. As I look around, I see one of my friends, Rose, as her eyes are locked onto Alpha Ryders eyes. He took a few steps towards her as we could all hear his growling. After a few moments, they ran towards each other with huge smiles on their faces. As I am standing there, I feel like someone is staring at me. Looking around, I see a pair of mesmerizing green eyes on me as I started to get uncomfortable switching from foot to foot. Seeing I am starting to get uncomfortable, the owner of those eyes looked away. That's when I notice whose eyes they belong to, Alpha Danicus. Feeling my wolf get excited again, I shook my head, heading to the woods to let her get some energy out.
