Leon’s POV:
Two bodies mysteriously vanished into thin air, only to be found later at their respective homes. Once they were sent to the lab, I instructed the researchers to perform an immediate autopsy. The results were unsettling: their stomachs contained lake water, food, and coffee.
This implied that these corpses had somehow come back to life, left the lab on their own, and lived at home like ordinary people for a while.
“How is this even possible?” Martin stared at the bodies in disbelief, rubbing his arms as he took a couple of steps back. “Could they have turned into zombies?”
“Perhaps. Deploy elite warriors to keep a close watch,” I ordered Martin to issue a lockdown, forbidding anyone from leaking information.
