Chapter 25 I’m awoken by a knock at the door. “Hayley it’s almost time to go” “Ok, I'll be out shortly” I reply. I head into the attached bathroom and quickly freshen up before heading out to me Greg. “Are we ready?” He asks. I just nod and follow him outside to his truck. We ride in silence for most of the way down to the station before I finally decide to ask “what was he arrested for?” He hesitates for a second before replying. “I think it will be best if I let Alex tell you. I know you guys have discussed things about this life and I don’t know what was decided. I don’t want to tell you something I shouldn’t” He replies. I decided not to say anything else, just wait and ask Alex. We pull into the parking lot and I immediately hop out of the truck. I follow Greg inside the
