My Girlfriend

Amanda was a stubborn teenager and she didn't stop seeing Paul. Paul was raised by his uncle and aunt at the local community until he finishes high school. The had many friends and relatives around. He would happyly introduce Amanda to them whenever they meet them. Their response was disappointment and frown on their faces. They felt that Amanda was very inferior to him. The only person that loved Amanda was Henry who is Paul 's cousin.

Their action was seen by Amanda and it peerced her heart. She was ashamed and and decided to have a serious conversation with Paul. "Paul can you please stop introducing me to your friends and relatives?"

"Why?" he asked

"Because they think like I don't deserve your love. I am not a match for you. Every time you introduce me to each of them, they become disappointed". She replied.

Paul took her into his arms. " I love u so much Amanda and I will always do. You will always be my girlfriend. They must learn to accept you. Soon they will get used to the fact that me and you are a couple. One day we will invite them to our wedding."

Soon the grade 10 results were out and Amanda passed with flying colours. Paul was so happy and proud. He kept telling his friends and relatives of how brilliant his girlfriend is. Only Henry rejoiced with him. He took Amanda to a fancy restaurant for lunch to celebrate. "congratulations to you my darling, I hope our kids will inherit your genes." He said beaming with joy. Amanda was puzzled.

He gave her the menu "You can order whatever you want to it. It's my treat, don't be polite with me." It was Amanda 's first time to be in such a fancy restaurant, she didn't know what to order. Paul ordered several dishes and they we soon served. They had a great time together and most of the food was eaten by Amanda.

" Thank you so much Paul for bringing me to such a fancy restaurant for lunch. I have enjoyed most of the food."

"U are so polite love, what's my reward?" "What do you want?" she asked

"I want a kiss".

Amanda got close to Paul and wanted to kiss him on the cheek. Paul moved and her lips fell on his. Paul held her face and deepen the kiss. They kissed for a long time until they were both out of breath. Fortunately they booked the private room.

Later they left the restaurant hand in hand and Paul opened the car door for her. The drove away together. Everything around them was so beautiful. Paul dropped her at the intersection and she happyly went home. She felt that she is falling for Paul bit by bit. Her fear of Paul wanting to have s*x with her was fading away. That night she slept peacefully thinking about the possibility of her and Paul being a proper loving couple.
