Paul 's transfer

On Amanda 's school opening day, Paul was summoned to his boss 's office. His boss gave him a letter of transfer to another duty station. Paul was terrified to learn that he needs to separate with Amanda. After going out of the office he got the call from his uncle. His uncle was telling his that he met Amanda' s father who told him that he doesnt like their relationship and wants to chaise Amanda from home.

Paul 's uncle Issac was very angry at Paul telling him that he selfish because he makes Amanda to go against her family. He even told him that it would be his fault if Amanda doesn't perform well at school. He cautioned Paul that Amanda was a minor therefore Paul would face serious consequences if her father decide to take legal actions. Paul was very sad and decided to gave up his love for Amanda. He decided that he would wait for Amanda to turn 18 years and go to the University where her family won't control their affair.

The schools re-opened and Amanda was afraid that soon the teacher will know about her affair. Teachers were normally complaining about brilliant young girls falling inlove, fearing that they will be distracted. After school Amanda was invited to Paul 's house where she got sad news.

Paul was not able to work on that day. His mind was full of Amanda and all the sweet memories they had together.

Amanda went to Paul 's house where she met Paul with a gloomy face. Paul had been always full of smiles. Amanda was very surprised to see him with a cold face.

"Amanda I have been transferred to work at a nearby town, I am starting to pack today and I am moving out tomorrow. However it's not far, I will come often to see you."

Amanda was very disappointed to hear that. "why don't you turn down the transfer?" she asked.

" It's impossible to do that, transfer is part of my job and I don't have valid reasons to turn it down." He replied.

"in order to be with your future wife"

"Amanda stop joking, you refused several Times that you are the future Mrs Adams"

"I am going to miss u so much Paul." Amanda had mixed feelings. She was happy that Paul is going and won't disturb her academic life but on the other hand was sad to part with him. Paul took her into his embrace and kissed her on the forehead. He further reassured her that everything is going to be fine.
