Chapter 22: Incomplete
Lambert opened his eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar place. He forced himself up off the bed but then he felt dizzy. He suddenly felt forceful arms pushing him back on the bed.
“You didn’t tell me that you were sick.”, it was obvious in his tone that he was annoyed. Lambert looked at the owner of the voice and when he recognized him, he immediately diverted his gaze away from him.
“Do you want me to be portrayed as an evil person? That I fought against someone sick? That I am unfair?”, the man’s voice was still annoyed. Lambert fell silent.
“The ball didn’t get in… but because of what you have done, you had just proved that the position belongs rightfully to you.”, he said. Lambert was surprised with what he had said and he looked at his rival.
