Caught in the act. This is about to be very satisfying to watch unfold.
I turn on the lights and watch her freeze next to the built- in fittings where I keep some important files locked away. I casually stalk closer in no haste at all even though every inch of my being is on fire and yelling for me to run to her, to pounce on her like the hungry, savage beast I am. With one tap of the screen, I lock all doors and windows and then shove my hands into my pockets and lean into the wall and just watch her. It's as though she's doing this on purpose. Everything she does is for my viewing pleasure.
