Before I got to Fallen Crest I always thought that running is the easiest solution and is an act of self- love.
I never thought that sometimes cowardice is the greatest enemy of freedom. I thought that I could just run, run as far away from my problems as possible and start on a clean slate. After that visit to Alpha Landon's office I was not the same again. There were countless moments when I was lying in a strange place thinking that I was going to die but I survived.
